Yes, I’m cheezy. I wrote a math song for my Geometry class. I wanted them to be able to remember angle relationships formed by transfersals. What better way to turn it into a love song??
Here are the lyrics:
If I were an ordinary supplementary angle,
would you add up to 180 make a line with me?
If we get together add up to 90 degrees,
then I complement you, you complement me.
Girl if you’re feeling lonely no need to be scared,
’cause we’ll never separate, we’re a linear pair
You vertical me, I vertical you
That means you equal me I equal you too
(Chorus)
Angles together flow
some are high and some are low
see eight angles formed by transversals
Make me your vertical
Congruency is all we know
relationships they come and go
So measure up and here we go, (let’s go)
(verse)
If we were to infinite parallel lines
that means we never ever ever collide
we’re on the same plane together we glide
stick with me ’cause you’re in for a ride
(TransVERSE ahah get it?)
Cross through her gotta cross through me first
cross us both and we’ll have to transverse
8 different angles all of a sudden were formed
listen up and you’ll see how they’re formed
(verse 3)
Corresponding, angle are twins
even though we’re on different limbs
same position on the parallel lines
we’re congruent all the time
(Verse 4)
we’re interior not inferior
we’re same sided and superior
we add up to one hundred eighty degrees
that means we’re supple, mentary
(verse 5)
we’re alternate we’re opposites
we don’t agree, but still the same degree
ones outside, exterior
the other inside, interior
(chorus)
Angles together flow
some are high and some are low
see 8 angles formed by transversals
Make me your vertical
congruency is all we know
relationships they come and go
so measure up and here we go!
